O R I G I N A L 7/28/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13147 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF <br /> SAN MATEO FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION <br /> OF A GUNFIRE LOCATION SYSTEM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Redwood City and the <br />Sheriff's Department of the County of San Mateo have determined that it would <br />be in the best interest of said law enforcement departments and the citizens of <br />the City of Redwood City and the County of San Mateo to use and operate a <br />Gunfire Location System; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the County of San Mateo have <br />selected Trilon Technology, LLC, as the supplier of the Gunfire Location System; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has entered into an agreement entitled, "Agreement for <br />the Purchase and Installation of a Gunfire Location System - Trilon Technology, <br />LLC, with Trilon Technology, for the purchase and installation of the Gunfire <br />Location System. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City and the County have agreed that the information <br />provided by the Gunfire Location System about incidents located within the <br />County's jurisdiction will be dispatch by the Redwood City Police Department to <br />the County Sheriff's Department. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City and the County desire to participate in the cost of the <br />purchase of the Gunfire Location System. <br /> <br />Reso-249 <br />G:~shared\redwood~council <br />FXS:rg <br />07/21/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
