0 R I G I N A L 7/28/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13136 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE 1997-1998 <br /> SIDEWALK REPAIR AND TREE PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13105, adopted June 9, 1997, the <br />City Clerk advertised for bids for the 1997-1998 Sidewalk Repair and Tree <br />Program, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, nine bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, S.J. Burkhardt, Inc. of Mira Loma, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award <br /> <br />said bid to S.J. Burkhardt, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of S.J. Burkhardt, Inc. in the amount of Three Hundred Ninety <br />Thousand One Hundred Eighty-three and 50/100 Dollars ($390,183.50), <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated July 9, 1997 for the 1997- <br />1998 Sidewalk Repair and Tree Program, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
