0 R I G I N A L 7/14/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13134 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE <br /> NINTH AMENDMENT OF THE DISPOSITION AND <br /> DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE MEZES PLAZA PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City <br />(the "Agency) and Mezes Group, Inc., a California corporation (the <br />"Developer") have negotiated a Ninth Amendment (the "Amendment") to that <br />certain agreement entitled "Disposition and Development Agreement for the <br />Mezes Plaza Project," as amended (the "DDA"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City (the "City") is a party to the <br />DDA to the limited extent that the City is to contribute to the Project an <br />easement eight (8') feet in width for underground parking under the portion <br />of Broadway that abuts the Project Site; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered the <br />Amendment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> This Council hereby approves and authorizes the Mayor and the <br />City Clerk to execute and to attest, respectively, that certain Amendment <br />entitled "Ninth Amendment of Disposition and Development Agreement for <br />the Mezes Plaza Project" on behalf of the City of Redwood City, such <br />execution to bind the City to the limited extent set forth in the DDA and the <br />Amendment thereto. <br /> <br /> AK/DES: Mezes 9th Amendment/Council <br /> 7/10/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
