ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> <br /> DAYBREAK SHELTER FOR HOMELESS YOUTH <br /> (YOUTH AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~,~o~day of <br />~~. 2001, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />munic al corporation of the State of California, (City), and YOUTH AND FAMILY <br />ASSISTANCE, a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a shelter for homeless youth who reside in the <br />City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001, and <br />ending June 30, 2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred Fifty and no/100 Dollars ($18,350.00) <br /> <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Eighteen <br />Thousand Three Hundred Fifty and no/100 Dollars ($18,350.00) for exclusive use by <br />Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2002, <br />solely for the purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br />8/15/01 <br /> <br /> <br />
