0 R I G I N A L 7/14/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13126 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br /> TWENTY-FOUR (24) PERSONAL COMPUTERS; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the pumhase of twenty-four (24) personal computers for the Department of <br />Parks, Recreation and Community Services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication seven bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Computown of Mountain View, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid of Computown; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Computown, in the total amount of Fifty-eight Thousand <br />Fifty-two and 31/100 Dollars ($58,052.31), computed in accordance with said <br />bidder's proposal dated June 23, 1997 for the sale of twenty-four (24) personal <br />computers, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and said bidder <br />is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the sale of <br />said computers to the City. <br /> <br /> Reso-232 1 <br /> F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> DES:djk <br /> 07/02/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
