<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9346 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAY 1 6 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />REVOCABLE ENCROACHMENT PERMIT RELATING TO CERTAIN <br />CITY OWNED REAL PROPERTY FOR USE AS PARKING LOT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Christopher James Investment Company, as owner <br /> <br />of real property commonly known as Lot 5, Marina Park Center, <br /> <br />Redwood City California, has requested permission to construct <br /> <br />and maintain a parking lot under the bridge at Bridge Parkway, <br /> <br />upon a portion of a roadway easement owned by the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to grant a revocable encroachment permit permitting such use, <br /> <br />subject to certain specified terms and conditions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a <br /> <br />revocable encroachment permit to Christopher James Investment <br /> <br />Company to construct and maintain a parking lot over a portion of <br /> <br />a roadway easement owned by the City of Redwood City, which <br /> <br />easement is located under, and in the vicinity of the bridge over <br /> <br />Bridge Parkway, which permit shall not be effective until such <br /> <br />time as Christopher James Investment Company executes an acceptance <br /> <br />of its terms and conditions. <br /> <br />2. The permit herein granted shall be in the form of that <br /> <br />certain permit entitled "Grant of Revocable Permit-Vicinity of <br /> <br />9'~~6,~ <br />c"P J. .. <br />
