<br />SWC:mf 4/20/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 9 341 <br /> <br />r.....,'AIl\IAL <br />\J.\!bll~ <br /> <br />APR 2 5 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING <br />OF DIESEL ENGINE DRIVEN GENERATOR SET; AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9320, adopted March 21, <br /> <br />1983, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of a <br /> <br />diesel engine driven generator set; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cal-West Electric, Inc., South San Francisco, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said equipment, and it is the intention of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to Cal-West Electric, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Cal-West Electric, Inc. in the total lump <br /> <br />sum of Thirty-two Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-six and 83/100 <br />Dollars ($32,356.83), for the furnishing of a diesel engine <br /> <br />driven generator set, in accordance with the specifications <br /> <br />therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City with <br /> <br />9341 <br />
