<br />CGM:djg-c 4/01/83 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9335 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />APR 1 8 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR PERSONAL SERVICES (UMPIRE SERVICES - RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City conducts softball leagues as <br /> <br />part of its recreational program for the benefit of the citizens of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the operation of such softball leagues requires that <br /> <br />umpires be selected, trained and scheduled to officiate at such <br /> <br />softball games; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwcx:x:l City Umpire's Association has represented to <br /> <br />the City that it has the personnel qualified to perfom the afore- <br /> <br />mentioned duties and responsibilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreerrent <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City and the Redwcx:x:l City Umpire's <br /> <br />Association for said association to furnish City with the aforesaid <br /> <br />skills and services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreemant and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NCW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RED\1OOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLI..aVS: <br /> <br />That certain agreerrent entitled "Agreerrent for Personal <br /> <br />Services" (fom dated 4/01/83), by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty and the Redwcx:x:l City Umpire' 5 Association, copies of which are <br /> <br />93:35 <br />
