<br />SWC:d <br /> <br />-c 3/24/83 <br /> <br />OR1G\NAL <br />MAR 2 8 1983 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9 3~4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING AND <br />INSTALLATION OF LIFT RACK, WHEEL ALIGNMENT, AND BRAKE <br />OVERHAUL AND REPAIR EQUIPMENT; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9313, adopted <br /> <br />February 28, 1983, the City Clerk called for bids for the <br /> <br />furnishing and installation of lift rack, wheel alignment, and <br /> <br />brake overhaul and repair equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for <br /> <br />the furnishing and installation of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, K & L Automotive Service, Inc., San Francisco, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />and installation of said equipment, and it is the intention of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to K & L Automotive Service, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE ; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of K & L Automotive Service, Inc. in the total <br /> <br />lump sum of Twenty-two Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-six and <br /> <br />65/100 Dollars ($22,686.65), for the furnishing and installation <br /> <br />of lift rack, wheel alignment, and brake overhaul and repair <br /> <br />equipment, in accordance with the bidder's proposal, dated <br /> <br />March 22, 1983, in accordance with the specifications therefor <br /> <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and <br /> <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />9324 <br />
