04/24/2007 <br />ORIGINAL <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1130-338 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING ARTICLE 60, ZONING MAP NO. 22 OF ORDINANCE <br />NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, <br />TO REZONE PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE REDWOOD CITY <br />DOWNTOWN PRECISE PLAN AREA, AS FURTHER DESCRIBED IN <br />THIS ORDINANCE, FROM THE EXISTING ZONING DISTRICTS TO THE <br />PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on February 6, 2007, the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City recommended to the City Council, <br />the rezoning of the properties located within the Redwood City Downtown Precise Plan <br />Area, hereinafter described, from the existing zoning districts, including but not limited <br />to, Central Business ("CB District"), General Commercial ("CG District"), Central <br />Administrative ("CA District"), Neighborhood Commercial ("CN District"), Central <br />Business Retail ("CBR District"), General Commercial-Residential ("CG-R Combining <br />District"), Multi-Family-Medium Density ("R-4 District"), R-5 Multi-Family High Density <br />("R-5 District"), Public Facility ("PF District") to the Planned Community District ("P- <br />District"); and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, having reviewed the recommendation of the Planning <br />Commission and having considered the evidence received at the public hearing duly <br />noticed and held for said proposed rezoning, finds that the proposed rezoning is in the <br />public interest and consistent with the purposes of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The recitals set fojth above are true and correct, and are hereby <br />incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Article 41 of the Redwood City <br />Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No. 1130, as amended), Article 60, Map No. 22, of the <br />Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, as amended, is hereby amended as follows: <br />That real properties located within the Redwood City Downtown Precise <br />Plan, Redwood City, California, as shown on the map which is attached as <br />Exhibit "A" and referenced by Assessor's Parcel Numbers set forth in the <br />attached Exhibit "B", both of which are incorporated herein by reference, <br />are hereby rezoned from the existing zoning districts, including but not <br />limited to the zoning districts set forth above, to the Planned Community <br />Atty/Ord/Ord.274 Ord 1130-338 <br />030607 formerly muff # 613 <br />
