0 R I G I N A L 6/23/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13109 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR <br /> CERTAIN SERVICES RELATING TO GENERAL MUNICIPAL <br /> ELECTION OF NOVEMBER 4, 1997 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 4 of the Charter of the <br />City of Redwood City and Ordinance No. 2078, adopted April 11, 1994, the <br />General Municipal Election of the City of Redwood City shall be held in said City <br />on the same day as School District Elections, to wit: the first Tuesday after the <br />first Monday in November of each odd-numbered year; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the General Municipal Election of the City of Redwood City <br />shall be held on November 4, 1997, and shall be consolidated with School <br />District Elections to be held on said date; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo provides certain services pertaining <br />to the conduct of elections as set forth more fully in the Agreement hereinafter <br />referenced; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain Agreement by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California, and the County of San Mateo, <br /> entitled "Service Agreement for the City of Redwood City - General Municipal <br /> Election Consolidated with November School Governing Board and Consolidated <br /> <br /> Reso-224 1 <br /> G:~shared~redwood~council <br /> FXS:rg <br /> 06/16/97 <br /> 06/17/97R <br /> 06/19/97R <br /> <br /> <br />
