0 R I G I N A L 6/9/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13107 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER THE LEVY OF <br /> BENEFIT ASSESSMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1997-98 AND <br /> THEREAFTER USING THE ALTERNATIVE METHOD, <br /> APPROVING CITY MANAGER'S AND ENGINEER'S REPORTS, <br /> MODIFYING FORMULA FOR ANNUAL ASSESSMENTS, <br /> RATIFYING FORMATION OF DISTRICT, CALLING PROPERTY <br /> OWNERS' ELECTION ON SAID ASSESSMENTS, AND <br /> PROVIDING FOR NOTICE OF ELECTION AND HEARING <br /> THEREON - REDWOOD SHORES LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE <br /> DISTRICT NO. 1995-1 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby finds and determines that: <br /> <br /> (a) Pursuant to Resolution No. 12649 entitled, "Resolution Overruling <br />Protests, Ordering the Formation of Redwood Shores Landscape Maintenance <br />District No. 1995-1, Ordering That the Alternative Method For the Levy of Benefit <br />Assessments Be Made Applicable Thereto, Approving, Confirming and Adopting <br />City Manager's Report Pertaining Thereto, and Ordering Special Benefit <br />Assessment to Be Levied and Collected Within Said District for Fiscal Year <br />1996-97", adopted December 11, 1995, Redwood Shores Landscape <br />Maintenance District No. 1995-1 (the "District") was established pursuant to the <br />provisions of Article XII (commencing with §18.80) of Chapter 18 of the Code of <br />the City of Redwood City, the Redwood City Maintenance District Ordinance (the <br />"Ordinance"). <br /> <br /> (b) The boundaries of the District are shown on a map on file in the office <br />of the City Clerk entitled, "District Boundary Map - Redwood Shores Landscape <br /> <br />F:/Shared/Redwood/Council 1 <br />06/03/97R <br />DES:djk <br />Reso-213.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
