<br />CGM:djg-c <br />CGM:djg-c <br /> <br />11/15/82 <br />11/17/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />NOV 2 2 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9271 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF ROTARY <br />GANG MOWER; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9245, adopted October 11, <br /> <br />1982, the City Clerk called for bids in accordance with revised <br /> <br />specifications for the furnishing of a rotary gang mower; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment and it <br /> <br />is the intention of this Council to award said bid to Jenkins <br /> <br />Machinery Co.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Jenkins Machinery Co., in the total lump <br /> <br />sum of Thirty-four Thousand Three Hundred and No/I00 Dollars <br /> <br />($34,300.00), plus sales tax for the furnishing of a rotary gang <br /> <br />mower, in accordance with the bidding proposal, and in accordance <br /> <br />with the specifications therefor on file in the office of the <br /> <br />City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br /> <br />and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />9271 <br />
