<br />SWC:djg-c 11/3/82 <br /> <br />OR1G1NJ\L <br />NOV 2 2 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9267 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING REORGANIZATION OF THE LANDS OF <br />REDWOOD FOOD PACKING CORPORATION INCLUDING BUT NOT <br />LIMITED TO DETACHMENT FROM CSA #8 AND ANNEXATION TO <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, PURSUANT TO THE DISTRICT <br />REORGANIZATION ACT OF 1965 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County <br /> <br />of San Mateo (LAFCO) adopted its Resolution No. 668 on October 20, <br /> <br />1982, making determinations and approving the proposed re- <br /> <br />organization including detachment from CSA #8 and annexation to <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City of the territory described in "Exhibit A" <br /> <br />hereof attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br /> <br />herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, preliminary proceedings with respect to said <br /> <br />annexation were initially commenced upon petition of A.E. Spina <br /> <br />on behalf of Redwood Food Packing Corporation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the distinctive short form designation assigned <br /> <br />by LAFCO to the territory proposed to be reorganized is "Proposed <br /> <br />Reorganization of the Lands of Redwood Food Packing Corporation <br /> <br />including but not limited to Detachment from CSA #8 and Annexation <br /> <br />to the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, LAFCO has determined that the territory proposed <br /> <br />to be reorganized, is uninhabited and that annexation by the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City may be undertaken without notice and hearing and <br /> <br />without an election pursuant to Section 56261 of the Government <br /> <br />Code; and <br /> <br />9267 <br />
