<br />S8~:djg-c 11/10/82 <br /> <br />9261 <br /> <br />NOV 1 5 1982 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR UNIFORM RENTAL AND <br />LAUNDRY SERVICE; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of <br /> <br />Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, the City <br /> <br />Manager has solicited bids for the furnishing of uniform rental <br /> <br />and laundry service to the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of the abovementioned <br /> <br />service; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Red Star Industrial Service, Hayward, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to Red Star Industrial <br /> <br />Service; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Red Star Industrial Service for the <br /> <br />furnishing of uniform rental and laundry service in accordance <br /> <br />with specifications therefor is hereby accepted and said bidder <br /> <br />is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder. Cost to <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City for the aforementioned services, as <br /> <br />specified in bidder's proposal dated September 28, 1982, will be <br /> <br />9261 <br />
