<br />SWC:djg-c 10/21/82 <br /> <br />c;:nGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9249 <br /> <br />OCT 2 5 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />FURNITURE FOR THE SENIOR CENTER; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF PURCHASE ORDER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of <br /> <br />Chapter 2 of the Redwood City Code, the City Manager has <br /> <br />solicited bids for the furnishing of furniture to be used for <br /> <br />municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the Director of Finance for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />items; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Del Prato Interiors, Pleasant Hill, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />equipment, and it is the intention of this Council to award <br /> <br />said bid to Del Prato Interiors; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Del Prato Interiors in the total lump sum <br /> <br />amount of Ten Thousand Seven Hundred Four and 50/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($10.704.50) plus applicable sales tax and freight, for the <br /> <br />furnishing of furniture for the Senior Center, in accordance <br /> <br />with the bidder's undated proposal, and in accordance with the <br /> <br />descriptions listed on "Exhibit A," attached hereto, and <br /> <br />9 24 ~ <br />
