<br />CGM:mf <br />r '1:djg-c <br /> <br />9/22/82 <br />9/23/82R <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9233 <br /> <br />SEP 2 7 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION TO THE STATE <br />OF CALIFORNIA (DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION) FOR <br />STATE INTERMODAL FUNDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A MULTI- <br />MODAL TRANSPORTATION FACILITY IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the construction of a multi-modal transportation <br /> <br />facility will facilitate the use of various forms of trans- <br /> <br />portation in this City and in connection with methods of <br /> <br />transportation outside the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation of the State <br /> <br />of California provides State Intermodal funds for the con- <br /> <br />struction of such multi-modal transportation facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to submit an <br /> <br />application for the funding of a multi-modal transportation <br /> <br />facility in this City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The "Intermodal Facility Project Application," prepared <br /> <br />by the Department of Public Works, is hereby approved and it <br /> <br />is directed to submit such application to the Department of <br /> <br />Transportation of the State of California. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9233 <br />
