<br />CG~1 :mf 9/7/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 9 21 3 <br /> <br />O!~IGINAL <br />SEP 1 3 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />RETENTION BASIN AND INLET CHANNEL FENCING AND <br />ACCESS ROADS; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9173, adopted August 9, <br /> <br />1982, this Council approved plans and specifications for the <br /> <br />construction of the Retention Basin and Inlet Channel Fencing <br /> <br />and Access Roads, and directed the City Clerk to call for bids <br /> <br />therefor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, O. C. Jones and Sons, Berkeley, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to said o. C. Jones and Sons; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />ACTING FOR AND ON BEHALF OF REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />DISTRICT NO. 1-64, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of o. C. Jones and Sons in the amount of Ninety-one <br /> <br />Thousand Eight Hundred Eighteen and 10/100 Dollars ($91,818.10), in <br /> <br />accordance with such bidder's proposal, for the construction of <br /> <br />retention basin and inlet channel fencing and access roads, is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />Paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />9213 <br /> <br />
