<br />rGM:djg-c 8/30/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 21 1 <br /> <br />SEP 1 3 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />BRIAN, KANGAS, FOULK AND ASSOCIATES, RELATING TO <br />AN ENGINEERING STUDY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires an engineering <br /> <br />study for the Fifth Avenue Pump Station; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to engage Brian, <br /> <br />Kangas, Foulk and Associates, Redwood City, California, to <br /> <br />perform such study which shall include, but not be limited to <br /> <br />determining design flows and recommending improvements for the <br /> <br />Fifth Avenue Pump Station and the associated drainage <br /> <br />collection system to increase the capacity of such Station and <br /> <br />system to remove storm drainage waters; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Brian, Kangas, Foulk and Associates has repre- <br /> <br />sented to the City that it is experienced and qualified to <br /> <br />perform all of the abovementioned services as further described <br /> <br />in the proposed agreement therefor; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, and Brian, Kangas, Foulk and Associates entitled "Agree- <br /> <br />ment - Fifth Avenue Pump Station Study" (form dated 8/30/82), a <br /> <br />copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> <br />reference, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby <br /> <br />authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9211 <br />
