<br />SWC:L J-c 8/3/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9189 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 9 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGP~EMENT WITH PENINSULA CELEBRATION ASSOCIATION <br />FOR PROMOTIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the peninsula Celebration Association is an <br /> <br />organization that provides promotional services to public <br /> <br />entities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has determined that <br /> <br />community promotion is vital to the present and future well- <br /> <br />b~ing of all segments of the public of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to enter into an agreement <br /> <br />with the Peninsula Celebration Association by which certain <br /> <br />promotional activities will be undertaken by the Association <br /> <br />in consideration of the payment of the sum of Two Thousand and <br /> <br />NO/100 Dollars ($2,000.00) to Association; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and the peninsula Celebration Association, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy referenced is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized <br /> <br />and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />91 9 <br />
