<br />8/2/82 <br /> <br />ORIGtNAL <br />AUG 9 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9186 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH KAINOS HOME AND TRAINING CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center has been esta- <br /> <br />blished for the principal purpose of providing a permanent <br /> <br />residential facility to train mentally retarded adults, and <br /> <br />offices to serve as a center for the handicapped population ln <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center has requested fi- <br /> <br />nancial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities <br /> <br />during the fiscal year commencing July, 1982 and ending June 30, <br /> <br />1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to pay to Kainos Home and Training Center the sum of <br /> <br />Two Thousand One Hundred and No/IOO Dollars ($2,100.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for ap- <br /> <br />proval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Kainos <br /> <br />Home and Training Center, and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RE'DWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/2/82), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Kainos Home and Training Center, a <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby au- <br /> <br />thorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9186 <br />
