<br />~M:djg-c 5/24/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUN 2 8 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 1 5 4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR ANNEXATION <br />OF CERTAIN TERRITORY IN THE VICINITY OF HORGAN <br />AVENUE, WOODSIDE ROAD, AND ATHERWOOD AVENUE TO <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, preliminary proceedings for the annexation of <br /> <br />certain territory were commenced by the Local Agency Formation <br /> <br />commission of the County of San Mateo (LAFCO); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, LAFCO has assigned the distinctive short-form <br /> <br />designation of "Annexation of Lands of D.K. Development & <br /> <br />Investment Co. (12.34AC) and (.04AC) within Woodside Road <br /> <br />in San Mateo County and Lands of Nakano to the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City" to the territory to be annexed to the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and a description of the territory to be <br /> <br />annexed is contained on "Exhibit A", attached hereto, and <br /> <br />incorporated herein, as if set forth herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the LAFCO has determined that the territory to <br /> <br />be annexed is uninhabited territory and that the reasons for <br /> <br />such proposed annexation are the territory is substantially <br /> <br />surrounded by the City of Redwood City and is already <br /> <br />substantially developed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That Monday, the 19th day of July, 1982, at the hour <br /> <br />of 7:30 o'clock P.M. of said day, in the Board of Supervisors <br /> <br />Chambers, 401 Marshall Street, Redwood City, California, is <br /> <br />hereby fixed as the time and place where a hearing will be <br /> <br />conducted on the proposed annexation whose distinctive short- <br /> <br />9154 <br />
