<br />cnM:djg-c 6/17/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUN 2 1 1982 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9144 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner of certain <br /> <br />property hereinafter described; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described property is not needed for present or <br /> <br />prospective municipal or public purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and <br /> <br />determined that the current reasonable market value for each <br /> <br />item to be declared surplus is less than One Thousand Dollars <br /> <br />( $1 , 000 . 00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to declare said property surplus and authorize its sale in <br /> <br />accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares <br /> <br />that the items of City property listed on "Exhibit A," which <br /> <br />is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, are <br /> <br />surplus; that they are no longer necessary or required for <br /> <br />municipal or public purposes; and that each has an appraised <br /> <br />value of less than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00). <br /> <br />2.
