0 R T G T t~ A [, 5/19/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13083 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CLEANING OF <br /> POLICE UNIFORMS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS PERTAINING THERETO <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the cleaning of police uniforms for the Police Department of the City of <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication one bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS, Carlos Cleaners of San Carlos, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid of Carlos Cleaners; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Carlos Cleaners, in an amount not to exceed Thirty-one <br />Thousand Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($31,050.00) per year- ($9.00 per uniform), <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated April 21, 1997 for the <br />cleaning of police uniforms, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for the cleaning of said uniforms for the Redwood City Police <br />Department. <br /> <br />Resoo200 1 <br />DES:djk <br />F :lShared/RedwoodlCouncil <br />05/0897 <br /> <br /> <br />
