<br />CGM:mf 5/7/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9113 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAY 1 0 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR INSTALLATION OF <br />CARPETING; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of <br /> <br />Chapter 2 of the Redwood City Code, the City Manager has <br /> <br />solicited bids for the installation of carpeting; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, PENINSULA FLOORS, INC., San Carlos, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the installation of said <br /> <br />material, and it is the intention of this Council to award <br /> <br />said bid to PENINSULA FLOORS, INC.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of PENINSULA FLOORS, INC., in the total lump <br /> <br />sum amount of Six Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-two and No/100 <br /> <br />dollars ($6,692.00), for the installation of carpeting in certain <br /> <br />City buildings in accordance with the bidder's proposal, dated <br /> <br />May 6, 1982, and in accordance with the specifications therefor <br /> <br />on file in the office of the Director of Finance, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the installation of said <br /> <br />material. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement with PENINSULA FLOORS, INC. for the installation of <br /> <br />the above material in accordance with, and subject to, the terms <br /> <br />and conditions of the aforementioned specifications and in <br /> <br />accordance with the aforementioned bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />3.
