SV djg-c 4/28/82 ORIGINAL MAY 3 1982 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 9105 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS FOR PURPOSE OF PURCHASE, OPERATION AND ~ffiIN- TENANCE OF A SHARED AUTOMATED CIRCULATION SYSTEM FOR CERTAIN LIBRARIES WITHIN SAN MATEO COUNTY; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9026, adopted December 21, 1981, this Council approved in principle the participation of the City of Redwood City in a joint exercise of powers for the purpose of the purchase, operation and maintenance of a shared automated circulation system for participating libraries within San Mateo County; and WHEREAS, said approval was conditioned upon the future presentation to this Council of an agreement satisfactory to all participating agencies; and WHEREAS, an agreement satisfactory to the staffs of all participating agenceis has now been presented to this Council for approval; and WHEREAS, it is the intention of-this Council to approve the City's participation in the joint exercise of powers and to authorize execution of the agreement therefor; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. This Council does hereby approve the participation of the City of Redwood City in the joint exercise of powers for the purpose of the purchase, operation and maintenance of a shared automated circulation system for participating libraties within San Mateo County. 2.
