<br />~7- ijg-c 4/15/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />APR 1 9 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />N o. 9 09 9 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR CONSULTING SERVICES REJATIVE TO GARBAGE RATES (PRICE WA'IERHOUSE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the public entities served by EFI of San Mateo County ("BFI") <br /> <br />desire the services of a qualified finn to conduct a rate stu:ly covering the <br /> <br />collection and disposal of refuse by BFI, iIl addition to other consulting <br /> <br />services as rrore fully hereinafter described; arrl <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Price Waterhouse has represented to the Director of Finance <br /> <br />of the City of F.edvo:x:i City that it is qualified to render the aforementioned <br /> <br />services, am has sul:mi ttErl a proposal for such services; am <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been separately agreed to by BFI am by the public <br /> <br />entities served by BFI that the City of Red.Vl.XXi City will contract for the <br /> <br />consulting services of Price Waterhouse, on behalf of each ani all of them, <br /> <br />costs to be borne partly by BFI and partly by San Mateo County arri the various <br /> <br />cities arrl tOvms served by BPI; ani <br /> <br />\'lliERFAS, this Council desires to enter into an agreement, on behalf <br /> <br />of BFI a..'1d the various aforementioned governmental agencies, with Price <br /> <br />Waterhouse for the performance of the aforementioned consulting services; <br /> <br />NCW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDw<'x)D CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLI.aVS: <br /> <br />That certai.'1 agreement entitled "Agreauent" (form dated 4/15/82) , <br /> <br />by am between the City of Redwoc:rl City, on behalf of BFI arrl various <br /> <br />governmental agencies in San Mateo County, and Price Waterhouse, consultants, <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />which copy reference is hereby rrade for full particulars concerning the tenus <br /> <br />am conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby <br /> <br />authorized and directed to execute the agreement approved herein for and <br /> <br />9 099 <br />
