<br />r~GM:mf 4/16/82 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9 092 <br /> <br />coPy <br />APR 1 9 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF <br />GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON APRIL 13, 1982 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, by <br /> <br />Resolution No. 9070, duly passed and adopted on March 15, 1982, <br /> <br />designated the precincts and polling places and appointed the <br /> <br />members of the precinct boards for the general election to be <br /> <br />held in said City of Redwood City on April 13, 1982, as required <br /> <br />by law, for the objects and purposes of: <br /> <br />(1) electing the following municipal officers of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City: <br /> <br />Three (3) Councilmen for the full term of four (4) <br /> <br />years each; and <br /> <br />(2) submitting to the voters four (4) charter amendment <br /> <br />proposals; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said general municipal election was held on <br /> <br />Tuesday, April 13, 1982, in accordance with law, and the votes <br /> <br />thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof ascertained, <br /> <br />determined and declared in all respects as required by law; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City be, and <br /> <br />is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes of <br /> <br />this Council as a statement of the result of said election. <br /> <br />2. That the whole number of votes cast in said City at <br /> <br />said general municipal election was 4854 votes. <br /> <br />3. That at said election the following propositions and <br /> <br />each of them were submitted to the electors of said City and that <br /> <br />the number of votes given in said City for and against each of <br /> <br />said propositions (including absentee votes) was as follows: <br /> <br />9 092 <br />
