<br />2:djg-c 4/7/82 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />9 091 <br /> <br />APR 1 2 1982 <br /> <br />RESOUJTION AWARDING BID FOR CHEMICAL WAY STORM DRAIN <br />REPAIRS; REJECTING AIL arHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUI'HORIZING <br />EXEnJTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID IDRK; AND DIRECI'ING <br />RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9057, adopted February 22, <br /> <br />1982, the City Clerk called for bids for Repairs to the Chemical Way <br /> <br />Stann Drain System in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />perfonnance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ranger Pipelines Incorporated San Francisco, California, <br /> <br />is the ICMest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to said Ranger Pipelines Incorporated; <br /> <br />NCW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REI:MCOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOI.J.aVS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Ranger Pipelines Incorporated in the arrount of <br /> <br />Twenty-one Thousand Fifty-five and No/100 Dollars ($21,055.00), corrputed <br /> <br />in accordance with bidder's proposal dated March 24, 1982 for repairs <br /> <br />to the Chemical Way Stann Drain System is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the aboverrentioned work, other than the bid rrentioned in paragraph <br /> <br />1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br /> <br />into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that certain <br /> <br />agreerrent entitled "Agreerrent" by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and Ranger Pipelines, Incorported for the perfonnance of said work in <br /> <br />9 091 <br /> <br />
