<br />CGM:mf 2/24/82 <br /> <br />~ E ~ 2 ~ Q ! ! 2 N ~ 2. 9 0 6 0 <br /> <br />ORiGINAL <br />MAR 1 1982 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUI'HORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH CITIZENS' CRD1E PREVENTION <br />INCORPORATED, CAPI'URE PRCX;RAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CITIZENS' CRIME PREVENTION INCORPORATED, CAPI'URE PRCX;RAM <br /> <br />has been established for the principal purpose of reducing crime <br /> <br />related problems within the County of San Ma.teo through early prevention <br /> <br />rreasures; and <br /> <br />HHEREAS, the aforesaid CAPI'URE PRCX;RAM has requested financial <br /> <br />assistance in order to conduct such a program for residents of the <br /> <br />Ci ty of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to allocate to the aforesaid CAPI'URE PRCX;RAM the sum <br /> <br />of Nineteen Thousand Fifty-five and No/100 Dollars ($19,055.00) <br /> <br />from its Corrmuni ty Developrrent Block Grant Funds for use by said <br /> <br />CAPI'URE PRcx;RAM during the calendar year January 1, 1982 to <br />December 31, 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and CITIZENS' CRIME <br /> <br />PREVENTION INCORPORATED, CAPTURE PRcx;RAM, and it is the intention <br /> <br />and desire of this Council to approve the SanE; <br /> <br />NCW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIDmD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLCWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 2/24/82), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and CITIZENS' CRIME PREVENTION INCORPORATED, <br /> <br />CAPI'URE PRCX;RAM, a copy of which agreerrent is on file in the office <br /> <br />9060 <br />
