FOR THE REPAIR OF STORM WATER <br />PUMP MOTOR <br /> <br />JAN 4 1S32 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has advised this Council <br /> <br />that it was necessary to repair a storm water pump motor in order <br /> <br />to provide effective storm water drainage in Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has advised this Council that <br /> <br />the delivery of a new storm water pump motor could not have been <br /> <br />made until approximately four (4) months from the date of issuance <br /> <br />of the purchase order for such motor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has been advised that Coast Electric Co. <br /> <br />provided the skilled services necessary to repair the storm water <br /> <br />pump motor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council based upon the information which has been <br /> <br />presented to it, desires to pay Coast Electric Co. in the sum of <br /> <br />Ten Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-seven and 60/100 Dollars ($10,227.60) <br /> <br />in connection with the repair of the above mentioned pump motor; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to pay Coast <br /> <br />Electric Co., in the abovereferenced sum for its performance of <br /> <br />expert repair services for a storm water pump motor. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9032 <br />
