~C:djg-c 12/16/81 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 9 029 OR1G1NP\L DEe211981 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT (BAIR ISLAND Ro~n - PG&E, PT&T) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION WHEREAS, a public service easement in the City of Redwood City, heretofore dedicated over a portion of Bair Island Road, is not needed for present or prospective public service purposes; and WHEPEAS, the Council of the City of Redwood CIty intends to vacate said public service easement pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and Highways Code; NOvl, THEREFORE i BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate a public service easement on a portion of Bair Island Road, as hereinafter described, and elects to proceed with such vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 (co~~encing with Section 8300) of the Streets and Highways Code. 2. The public service easement to be vacated is as indicated on the plat attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, entitled "Plat of Quit Claim Portion of Public Utility Easement and Private Ingress/Egress Easement Portion of Parcel A - Pen in- sula Marina" marked "Exhibit A", and is more particularly described as follows: A PORTION of that certain public utility easement and proposed private ingress-egress easement lying within Parcel 3 as said Parcel 3 is shown on that certain Parcel Map No. 79-10, recorded in Volume 48 of Parcel Maps at Page 26 and Page 27, Records of San Mateo County, California, said easements being also shown as a portion of Parcel A of that certain Parcel Map No. 80-4, recorded in Volume 49 of Parcel Maps at Page 75, Records of San Mateo County, California, said portion being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Parcel D as shown on said Parcel Map No. 80-4; thence from said point of beginning along the common parcel line between Parcel A and Parcel D as shown on said map, South 73059'34" West, 27.01 feet; thence leaving 9 029
