~ 0 R I G I N A L - 4/7/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13039 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REDWOOD <br /> SHORES PARKWAY WIDENING PROJECT PHASE I; <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br /> WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13030, adopted March 17, 1997, <br />the City Clerk readvertised for bids for the Redwood Shores Parkway Widening <br />Project - Phase I, Redwood City, Califomia; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said readvertisement, four bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Interstate Grading and Paving, Inc. of South San Francisco, <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Interstate Grading and Paving, Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Interstate Grading and Paving, Inc., in the amount of Six <br />Hundred Eighty-two Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-four and 50/100 Dollars <br />($682,664.50), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated March 26, <br />1997 for the Redwood Shores Parkway Widening Project - Phase I, is hereby <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
