~. 0 R I G I N A L 4/7/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13038 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br /> SELECTED MATERIALS (SAND AND CLASS II AGGREGATE) <br /> FOR FISCAL YEAR 1996-1997 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the pumhase of selected materials (sand and class II aggregate) for fiscal year <br />1996-1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, L.C. Frey Company, Inc. of Redwood City, California, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />accept the bid of L.C. Frey Company, Inc.; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of L.C. Frey Company, Inc. for the pumhase of selected <br />materials (sand and class II aggregate) to the City of Redwood City in the <br />amount of Eighteen Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-six and No/lO0 Dollars <br />($18,486.00) in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated Mamh 3, 1997, is <br />hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder in response to solicitation for bids without advertisement for <br />said selected materials. <br /> <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of L.C.
