0 R I G I N A L 3/10/97 <br /> (03/03/97) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13024 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Target Education and Welfare Council,Inc. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council,Inc. is a private, non-profit agency <br />that provides services to seniors to the residents of the target community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council,Inc., has requested financial assistance <br />for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing January 1, 1997 <br />and ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to the <br />Target Education and Welfare Council,Inc. a private, non-profit agency the sum of Fifteen <br />Thousand and No/1 O0 Dollars ($15,000); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Target Education and <br />Welfare Council,Inc. has been presented tothis council and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated O3/03/97), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and the Target Education and Welfare Council,Inc. a copy of which agreement is on file in <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same <br />for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
