0 R I G I N A L 2/24/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13017 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF A REPLACEMENT <br /> PUMP AT THE BAIR ISLAND STORM WATER PUMP STATION <br /> AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood City Code, this <br />Council has suspended the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 of the Code <br />of the City of Redwood City relating to competitive bidding for the hereinafter <br />described purchase; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works Services Department requires the pumhase <br />of a storm water pump at the Bair Island Pump Station; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the purchase of said pump in <br />an amount not to exceed Sixteen Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-six and <br /> <br />71/100 Dollars ($16,926.71); <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby approves the purchase of a replacement pump at <br />the Bair Island Storm Water Pump Station in the City of Redwood City from <br />Pump Repair Service Co. of San Francisco, California in an amount not to <br />exceed Sixteen Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-six and 71/100 Dollars <br />($16,926.71 ). <br /> <br />Reso.136 <br />DES:dJk <br />02/07/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
