-r O R I C I N A L 2/24/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13012 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A <br /> VIDEO DETECTION SYSTEM FOR THE RTSOP DOWNTOWN <br /> GRID PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the purchase of a video detection system (VDS) for the RTSOP Downtown Grid <br />Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Synchronex of San Jose, California, is the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of <br />Synchronex; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Synchronex for the sale of a video detection system (VDS) <br />to the City of Redwood City in the amount of Eighteen Thousand Two Hundred <br />Thirteen and 06/100 Dollars ($18,213.06) computed in accordance with said <br />bidder's proposal dated February 12, 1997, is hereby accepted, and said bidder <br />is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder in response to solicitation <br />for bids without advertisement for said equipment. <br /> <br /> 2.
