O R I G I N A L 1/27/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12989 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING PURCHASE <br /> OF SEVEN (7) EMERGENCY POLICE VEHICLES UNDER THE <br /> COOPERATIVE PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF <br /> LOS ALTOS PURCHASE ORDER #39365 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.80 of the Redwood City Code, the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by Section 54201 of <br />the California Government Code to purchase materials, equipment, or supplies <br />on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Los Altos Purchase Order #39365 includes a <br />Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies the <br />opportunity to purchase vehicles from C & S Ford of San Francisco, California; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of Los Altos conforms to the <br />requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to purchase seven <br /> (7) emergency police vehicles from S & C Ford pursuant to the Cooperative <br /> <br /> Purchase Provision of the City of Los Altos Purchase Order #39365; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute all <br /> necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> City for the purchase of seven (7) emergency police vehicles from S & C Ford in <br /> <br /> <br />
