DES:~jk 11/13/96 (921) <br /> <br /> -- 11/25/96 <br /> --ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12955 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br /> PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns that certain personal <br />property listed on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this <br />reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such <br />property is not needed for present or prospective municipal or <br />public purposes, and should be declared surplus; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and <br />determined that the current reasonable market value of the total <br />of each of the surplus items to be sold as a unit is less than <br />Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />declare said property surplus and authorize its sale in <br />accordance with Section 3½ of the Charter of the City of Redwood <br />City; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that <br />those items listed on Exhibit "A" are surplus; that they are no <br />longer necessary or required for municipal or public purposes; <br />and that the appraised value of the total of each of the items to <br />be sold as a unit is less than Five Thousand and Dollars <br />($5,000.00). <br /> <br /> 2. This Council hereby authorizes the sale of the <br />City-owned property described in Exhibit "A" in accordance with <br />Section 3½ of the Charter of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> 12955 <br /> <br /> <br />
