DES:djk 10/07/96 (057/42) <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 12950 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br /> ONE (1) SELF-PROPELLED DIESEL POWERED PAVER UNDER THE <br /> COOPERATIVE PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF WALNUT <br /> CREEK PURCHASE ORDER NO. 93018 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br />Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Walnut Creek, Purchase Order No. 93018 <br />includes a Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other <br />public agencies the opportunity to purchase equipment from Great <br />Western Equipment, Inc. of San Jose, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid purchase order of the City of Walnut <br />Creek conforms to the requirements of Redwood City Code Section <br />2.80; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />purchase one self-propelled diesel powered paver from Great <br />Western Equipment, Inc. pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase <br /> <br />Provision of the City of Walnut Creek Purchase Order No. 93018; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of one (1) self- <br /> propelled diesel powered paver from Great Western Equipment, Inc. <br /> for a'total cost of Seventy-six Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-six <br /> <br /> 12950 <br /> <br /> <br />
