~ O R I G I N A L --~ 10/28/96 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12946 <br /> <br /> JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br /> PORT OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE ENFORCEMENT OF <br /> TARIFF 7 OF THE PORT OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br /> (AQUA TERRA PROJECT) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 1730 of the City of Redwood City, adopted <br />November 29, 1977, the City Council of the City of Redwood City transferred to <br />the Board of Port Commissioners of the Port of Redwood City, the jurisdiction, <br />control, and promotion of the Port of Redwood City Yacht Harbor, its joining <br />areas and tributaries, all within the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. P-66. New Series, adopted April 20, 1978, <br />the Board of Port Commissioners of the Port of Redwood City established Rules <br />and Regulations for the administration of the Port of Redwood City Yacht Harbor; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Port Commissioners has enacted Tariff Number <br />7 to implement the terms of Ordinance No. P-66, New Series; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Tariff Number 7 regulates the use and operation of boats <br />within the Port of Redwood City Yacht Harbor; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Port of Redwood City Yacht Harbor, (the "Port Area"), as <br />will be defined by the Board of Port Commissioners by resolution for the purpose <br />of the Aqua Terra Project, are vital natural resources which provide great benefit <br />and enjoyment to Redwood City residents and residents of surrounding <br />municipalities as well as for future generations; and <br /> <br /> <br />
