DES:dj~- 10/17/96 (052/42) <br /> <br /> o R G N A L 10/28/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12941 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR ASPHALT SPOT <br /> RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12900, adopted September <br />23, 1996, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Asphalt Spot <br />Reconstruction Project in the City of Redwood City, California; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, four bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Interstate Grading & Paving, Inc. of South San <br />Francisco, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is <br />the intention and desire of this Council to accept said bid of <br /> <br />Interstate Grading & Paving, Inc..; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Interstate Grading & Paving, Inc., in the <br />amount of One Hundred Eighteen Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty and <br />No/t00 Dollars ($118,960.00), computed in accordance with said <br />bidder's proposal dated October 7, 1996, for the Asphalt Spot <br />Reconstruction Project, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br />said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
