DES:d='- 09/30/96 (048/42) <br /> <br /> ~ 0 R I G I N A L ~10/7/96 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12930 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF A COMPONENT TO REPAIR <br /> THE PUMP AT THE PRICE TRACT STORM PUMP STATION AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS IN <br /> CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood City Code, <br />this Council has suspended the requirements of Article VII of <br />Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City relating to <br />competitive bidding for the hereinafter described purchase; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works Services Department requires the <br />purchase of a propeller bowl assembly to repair the pump at the <br />Price Tract Storm Pump Station; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the purchase and <br />installation of said component in an amount not to exceed <br />Eleven Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-six and No/100 Dollars <br />($11,856.00); <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby approves the purchase of a bowl <br />assembly component to repair the pump at the Price Tract Storm <br />Pump Station in the City of Redwood City from J.M. Squared, Inc. <br />of Concord, California in an amount not to exceed Eleven Thousand <br />Eight Hundred Fifty-six and No/100 Dollars ($11,856.00). <br /> <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all documents required in connection with the purchase <br />authorized herein (in form approved by the City Attorney) for and <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
