O R I G I N A L 9/23/96 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12919 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM - <br /> REDWOOD FAMILY HOUSE <br /> <br /> (SHELTER NETWORK OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Shelter Network of San Mateo County ("Contractor") <br />conducts a transitional housing program for homeless resident families of the <br />City of Redwood City (the "Program"); arid <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996, and <br />ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Seventy Thousand Five Hundred <br />Fifty-six Dollars ($70,556.00) from its Community Development Block Grant <br />funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented <br />to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br /> agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Transitional Housing <br /> Program - Redwood Family House (Shelter Network of San Mateo County)," <br /> <br /> <br />
