O R D I N A N C E 9/23/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12916 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR SOUTH COUNTY AIDS CASE WORK <br /> PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (ELLIPSE PENINSULA AIDS SERVICE) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula Aids Service ("Contractor") conducts a <br />housing assistance program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the <br />"Program") with HIV related disabilities; annd <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996, and <br />ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty-nine Thousand Dollars <br />($29,000) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing <br />purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented <br />to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br /> agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for South County Aids Case <br /> Work Program (Ellipse Peninsula Aids Service)," (form dated 09/O6/96), by and <br /> <br /> <br />
