9/I6/96 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12885 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REGARDING TH~ ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS <br /> OF THE~ REVISION TO TI4E DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br /> FOR THE ELECTRONIC ARTS HEADQUARTERS MASTER PLAN <br /> <br /> (FLATIRONS FUNDING) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an application was submitted by Electronic Arts Redwood, Inc. as <br />agent for Flatirons Funding, Limited Partnership, for the development of an <br />approximately 45-acre site at the comer of Redwood Shores Parkway and Twin Dolphin <br />Drive ("Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 15, 1996, this City Council approved the Project; and <br /> <br /> WFIE~REAS, the Project is the subject of a Development Agreement Between the <br />City of Redwood City and Flatirons Funding, Inc., Limited Parmership ("Development <br />Agreement"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to approving the Project, this City Council considered and <br />adopted the Project EIR (evidenced by Resolution No. 12819), consisting of the <br />Environmental Impact Report for the General Plan Revision for Redwood Peninsula <br />("Redwood Peninsula ELK") and the Technical Addendum to the Redwood Peninsula ELK <br />prepared for the approvals relating to the Project ("Addendum"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council adopted Findings, Facts in Support of Findings <br />and Statement of Overriding Considerations Regarding the Environmental Impact Report <br />for the Electronic Arts Master Plan CCEQA Findings") in conjunction with its approval <br />of the Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Development Agreement as originally proposed has been revised <br />to limit the height of the buildings on the Project site to 130 feet and to limit the maximum <br />number of stories to eight stories; <br /> <br /> NOW, 'I'H EREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TlqE~ CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct. <br /> Section 2, This Council hereby finds, declares, and concludes as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) The revision to the Development Agreement will not create any <br /> new significant intpacts on the environment that were not evaluated in the Project <br /> <br /> 1 <br />DACEQA.DOC#2 <br /> <br /> <br />
