ORIGINAL <br /> (08/26/96) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12881 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Target Education and Welfare Council,Inc. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council,Inc. is a private, non-profit agency <br />that provides services to seniors to the residents of the target community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council,Inc., has requested financial assistance <br />for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996 and <br />ending December 31, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to <br />~agency- a private, non-profit agency the sum of Fifteen Thousand and No/lO0 Dollars <br />($15,000); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Target Education and <br />Welfare Council,Inc. has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/26/96), by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and -agency,* a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br /> <br />
