O R I G I N A L (08/26/96) <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12877 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Salvation Army (Teen Drop In Program) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Salvation Army (Teen Drop in Program) is a private, non-profit agency that <br />provides basic human necessities and personal counseling; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Salvation Army (Teen Drop in Program), has requested financial assistance <br />for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996 and <br />ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to <br />Salvation Army (Teen Drop in Program) a private, non-profit agency the sum of Five Thousand <br />and No/100 Dollars ($5,000); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Salvation Army (Teen <br />Drop in Program) has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> NOVV, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/26/96), by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> and Salvation Army (Teen Drop in Program) a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on <br /> behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
