ORIGINAL <br /> (08/26/96) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12875 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Redwood City Police Activities League <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. Redwood City Police Activities League is a private, non-profit agency that <br />provides alternative programs to drugs and gangs, to the youth of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Redwood City Police Activities League, has requested financial assistance for <br />use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996 and ending <br />June 30, 1997; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to <br />Redwood City Police Activities League a private, non-profit agency the sum of Sixteen Thousand, <br />Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($16,200); and <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Redwood City Police <br /> Activities League has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br /> Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/26/96), by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> and Redwood City Police Activities League a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br /> City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on <br /> behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
