O R I G I N A L (08/26/96) <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12866 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services is a private, non-profit agency that provides <br />assistance to individuals in San Mateo County who are HIV infected; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services, has requested financial assistance for use by <br />it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996 and ending June <br />30, 1997; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to <br /> Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services a private, non-profit agency the sum of Seventeen Thousand and <br /> No/100 Dollars ($17,000) ; and <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Ellipse Peninsula Aids <br /> Services has been presented to this council and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> approve the same; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8126196), by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> and Ellipse Peninsula Aids Services a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, <br /> and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of <br /> the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
